Dear Reader,
Welcome to our second Atma Kriya Newsletter. With Spring finally here and flowers once again blooming,
with it comes one of life’s simplest and yet most powerful lessons, rebirth and regeneration. The ways
of nature remind us of our own rebirth and the need to re-discover our inner permanent true nature, our
Atma. The message of rebirth is also brought home to us by the symbolism of Easter eggs, which relate to
Christ’s transfiguration. In this issue, we have dedicated a number of articles to the Hiranyagarbha
Lingam, the Cosmic Golden Egg and how this relates to understanding and experiencing our Atmic
consciousness.
In spring time it is customary to clean out your house and storage and throw away things that aren’t
required any more. We call this spring cleaning and even though it is a worthwhile effort, it only lasts
for a season. But spiritual spring cleaning could have an eternal influence. So don't just dust off and
clear out your dirty belongings, but cleanse yourself, cleanse your Heart and get spiritually
healthy.
With Lots of Love,

symbols od the Divine

Hinduism has many religious idols and symbols of divinity and yet at its core it maintains that there
is only one God. It accepts that the same God can be seen in different ways by different people, but
ultimately the Divine is formless and to understand it one has to go beyond the limited
comprehension of the mind. It is this formless, infinite aspect of the Supreme Being that many of
the great sages meditate on. However, for the average human mind, this is difficult to comprehend,
let alone develop a means of loving and worshiping the Divine. Therefore, religious symbols help us
to focus on that which is infinite. Hinduism supports both form and formless worship of the Divine,
but ultimately the spirit, soul or true "self" of every person, the Atma, is eternal, infinite and
indistinct from the Supreme Spirit. It is pure Consciousness that resides in the heart.
The ultimate goal of life is to become fully aware of the Atma as the innermost core of one's own self and realize your identity with the Divine.
This is the process of Self and God Realization and leads to moksha (liberation or freedom). Atma
Kriya is a fast route to achieving this.
One visible symbol of the invisible, omnipresent and ultimate reality, which is present both in us and in
all objects of creation, is the Lingam. The word Lingam literally means a sign or a symbol. Often
associated with Shiva (which means auspiciousness), the Shiva Lingam is regarded as a symbol of the
great God of the universe, who is all-auspiciousness. Shiva and Shiva Lingam may be Hindu terms, but
they represent universal principles which are not restricted to any one religion. Shiva represents the
whole of creation which sleeps after dissolution. The Lingam also means the same, a place where created
objects get dissolved during the disintegration of the created universe.
If OM represents the “sound symbol” of God, then the Lingam represents that in which this Jagat (world of change) attains Laya or mergence or dissolution (Leeyate).
Eventually all forms merge in the formless. Shiva represents the principle of destruction of all names
and forms, of all entities and individuals. So, the Lingam is the simplest sign of emergence and
mergence. It is a symbol without attributes of the beginningless, the endless, the limitless, just like
our Atma. In Hindu temples, Nandi the bull, is seen facing the temple sanctum and Shiva Lingam,
symbolizing the human soul Jeevatma’s yearning for realizing its oneness with Paramatma, the ultimate
reality.
According to Hindu scriptures, it is believed that at the end of all creation, all of the different
aspects of God found a resting place in the Lingam; Brahma became absorbed into the right, Vishnu to the
left and Gayatri into the heart. The Shiva Lingam is also a representation of the infinite Cosmic Column
of fire, whose origins, Vishnu and Brahma were unable to trace. Shiva Lingams are said to have one of
the highest frequency vibration rates of all the stones on earth.
Basavanna, a 12th Century Indian saint wrote this about the Lingam:
Oh God, Your Feet is beyond the worlds beneath
and Your Crown beyond the universes above!
You are Immeasurable, Unexplorable, Unimaginable!
But how simple You have come as a Shivalinga in my hand!
Shiva Lingams in several temples in India are Swayambhus, which means that they appeared on their own,
without the intervention of man. On the other hand, the Shiva Lingams found in most temples are carved
out of stone and installed. In India there are also 12 Jyotir Lingams or Lingams of Light, where Lord
Shiva appeared in the form of light (Jyotir) Lingam. It is believed that a person of a certain level of
spiritual attainment can see these Lingams as columns of fire piercing through the earth. These Jyotir
Lingams have been worshipped from time immemorial, for Shiva's presence exists in these shrines.

Every Mahashivaratri, “the Great Night of Shiva”, Sri Swami Vishwananda materializes a dozen or so
Lingams from his internals of different sizes, materials and colours. They are often given to
devotees to take care of and represent materialized Divinity on Earth. They assist spiritual growth
and have immense healing qualities if one drinks the water in which they are soaked.
The 30th November 2009 was witness to a very special and rare event, when Sri Swami Vishwananda
materialized the Hiranyagarbha Lingam. “Hiranya” means imperishable substance or golden and “garbha”
means womb, embryo, foetus, egg or the interior of anything. Thus, the Hiranyagarbha is known as the
Golden egg or womb; the matrix of imperishable substance. It is the seed of Brahma and of all
creation. It represents the entire Universe in microscopic form. It is the Atmic consciousness.
According to the Vedas, the Hiranyagarbha is the primordial being, the primeval seed from which Brahma was born.
According to Manu, Hiranyagarbha was Brahma, the first male, formed in a golden egg. Having
continued one year in the egg, Brahma then divided it into two parts by his mere thought and with
these two shells he formed the heavens and the earth and in the middle he placed the sky, the eight
regions and the eternal abode of the waters.
An extract of Swami’s talk on the significance of the appearance of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam is given
in the “Miracles of Spirit and Nature” section of this newsletter. There is also a meditation using
the Hiranyagarbha Lingam in the “Divinity in Daily Life” section. The Golden Hiranyagarbha Lingam is
a great blessing for the whole world, a gesture from the Cosmic Father, who always takes care of His
children.

The Lingam is a very sacred symbol, not only in Hinduism, but many other ancient cultures as well.
Actually, the “world egg” or “cosmic egg”, can be found in the myths of many cultures and
civilizations. Typically, the world egg is a beginning of some sort, and the universe or some
primordial being comes into existence by "hatching" from the egg. The egg has long since been a
symbol for resurrection and new life; from the time of the ancient Persians, through Jewish culture,
and well incorporated in Christianity. It also forms part of the celebrations about the coming of
spring, a time for planting and new life.
In Christian icons we can see Mary Magdalene with an egg. Christ's transfiguration is related to this
egg. In ancient times, eggs where considered to be a symbol of expansion of consciousness. The egg
is usually red because it is painted with the blood of Christ. In Greece it is a popular belief,
that after Christ's crucification, Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene came to Him with a basket full of
eggs, on which His blood fell down. Then, after His risening and seeing Him (firstly by Mary
Magdalene), Mary Magdalene came with these eggs to Tiberius Caesar and said, "Christ is risen!" The
eggs symbolized that from the blood of their Savior, many will receive a new life, their own
transfiguration. Another story tells that the moment she said to the Caesar, "Christ is risen!" the
eggs became red - similar to Krishna's conch, which became red under the touch of His lips from His
Shakti. And from this came the ancient Christian tradition of giving others painted Easter eggs with
the saying, "Christ is risen!" to which others reply, "Truly He is risen!"
May you use the symbolism of Easter and the Shiva Lingam and your practice of Atma Kriya to experience your own rebirth and discover your true eternal identity, your Atma.

Sri Swami Vishwananda once told this story:
“A boy once went to see God. On the way he met a great sadhu [ascetic], standing on one leg with his
hands up. The sadhu said to him, “As you are going to meet God, I have one question. Please, ask God
when will I attain liberation?”
The boy finally met God. On the way back he met the sadhu again. “So, did you meet God?” asked the sadhu.
The boy replied, “Yes, I did meet him. God said you still have some karmic things to do and you need to
take three more births before attaining me.” In that moment the sadhu became enraged and said, “All my
tapasya, all my great austerities, all my sadhana that I have been doing and I still have to take birth
three more times!”
But the boy was very calm and joyful. “Oh, I am sure it is your last time here,” said the sadhu. The boy
replied, “My dear sadhuji, it is not. Do you see this tamarind tree and multitude of leaves covering it?
I have to take as many births, and then I will attain Him.” The sadhu looked at him and said, “Are you
stupid or what? Then why are you so happy?” The boy replied, “Well, for me it doesn’t matter. Because I
know that in the end I will attain Him.” In that moment they heard a Divine voice saying, “Only by the
purity of your heart, you have achieved more than the sadhu doing his tapasya. You will attain mukti
[liberation] in this lifetime.”
So, it is not how much one has done, but how one is doing it. Love has to be there.
If you do your duties out of love, the Divine will run to you.”
This story shows us again that only by unconditional love and purity of the heart, we can attain God.
That’s also the most important thing in our daily sadhana. Sri Swami Vishwananda says that more
important than how often you are doing your Atma Kriya (or other spiritual practice), is how much love
you are putting into it. And this love, which is awakening in our heart during the time of meditation,
we should also bring into our daily life and share it with others. How many more births do we still need
to take before attaining God? It doesn’t matter for someone who has already found Him in his heart.

"Who am I?” a young man asked an elder. “You are what you think,” answered the old man. “I will
explain it to you with a little story.”
“One day, from the walls of the city, two people were seen embracing each other on the horizon in the
sunset.
They are a father and a mother, thought an innocent child.
They are two lovers, thought a man with a dark heart.
They are two friends that have met after many years, thought a lonely man.
They are two merchants that have just done a deal, thought a greedy man.
It’s a father embracing his son after returning from war, thought a woman with a tender soul.
It’s a daughter embracing her father who has returned from a trip, thought a man upset about the
death of a daughter.
They are two sweethearts, thought a girl dreaming about love.
They are two men that are fighting, thought a murderer.
Who knows why they are embracing, thought a man with an arid heart.
How beautiful it is to see two people embrace each other, thought a man of God.”
“Every thought,” concluded the old man, “reveals to yourself who you are. Examine frequently your
thoughts as they can say to you more than any Master.”

I beseech you, my Earth brethren of present time, to search also within the mathematical formula the
Christ has given you in the crucifixion story of the birth, transformation and transfiguration. You
live forever! Your consciousness cannot be extinguished for it is God Himself residing inside you.
We all are one! From that understanding and great comprehension we will walk the path of birth,
transformation and transfiguration into new birth.

"Unity with the Divine"
All fulfillments of his nature attained, man is not merely a reflector of Divine
light, but becomes actively united with Spirit.
In this state, all the necessities having been attained and the ultimate aim effected, the heart becomes
perfectly purified, and instead of merely reflecting the spiritual light, actively manifests the same.
Man, being thus consecrated or anointed by the Holy Spirit, becomes Christ, the anointed Savior.
Entering the kingdom of Spiritual Light, he becomes the Son of God.
In this state man comprehends his Self as a fragment of the Universal Holy Spirit, and abandoning the
vain idea of his separate existence, unifies himself with the Eternal Spirit; that is becomes one and
the same with God the Father. This unification of Self with God is Kaivalya, which is the Ultimate
object of all created beings.

Christ is resurrecting inside everybody. Let the old man which is inside of you die, and let the
new one resurrect together with Him. That is real resurrection of Christ.
It is not only about praising Him. Christ resurrected some 2000 years ago. Even if He did not
resurrect, He would still be Christ Himself. He did that to show us that resurrection is possible;
to show that God-realisation or your true realization is possible. He has shown the way. That is why
He has said, ”I am the Way, the Truth and the Light.”
He has shown that if you really want God, it is possible to achieve Him, even in one life. But you
have to be sincere with yourself. You have to really say, “Yes, I want Him.” It doesn’t matter how
you are. Even if you are the greatest criminal, you can still become a saint. Take as an example
Mary Magdalene. People said so many things about her, but in the end she became the greatest model
of devotion.
What you have inside of you is greater than what you can think about. If God is calling from within
you, and if you cleanse your mind from all its impurities and be sincere with yourself, you will
have Him – even in one second.
- Sri Swami Vishwananda
Talk given on Eastern 2009
When the Spirit of God descends upon a man and overshadows him with the fullness of his
outpouring, then his soul overflows with a joy not to be described, for the Holy Spirit turns to
joy whatever he touches.
The kingdom of heaven is peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Acquire inward peace, and thousands around
you will find their salvation.

Serving girl:
It’s Spring, Rabi’a –
Why not come outside,
And look at all the beauty God has made!
Rabi'a:
Why not come inside instead, serving girl,
And see the One who made it all –
Naked, without veil.
I have two ways of loving You:
A selfish one
And another way that is worthy of You.
In my selfish love, I remember You and You alone.
In that other love, You lift the veil
And let me feast my eyes on Your Living Face.
Sufiyan:
This is my prayer:
Let God be satisfied with me.
Rabi'a:
How dare you pray that –
When you are not satisfied with God?
These poems were written by a great Sufi saint, Rabi’a al-Basri. Throughout her life, her Love of God,
poverty and self-denial were her constant companions. She refused even sleep, because she said that it took her away from her active Love of God. She used to say, “May God steal from you all that
steals you from Him.” These translations of Rabia’s poems come from the book Doorkeeper of the Heart by Charles Upton.

Christ has no body now on earth but yours,
no hands but yours, no feet but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which He is to look out
Christ's compassion to the world;
Yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good;
Yours are the hands with which He is to bless men now.
We bloomed in Spring.
Our bodies are the leaves of God.
The apparent seasons of life and death our eyes can suffer;
but our souls, dear, I will just say this forthright:
they are God Himself.
We will never perish unless He does.
Just these two words He spoke changed my life,
"Enjoy Me."
What a burden I thought I was to carry –
a crucifix, as did He.
Love once said to me,
"I know a song, would you like to hear it?"
And laughter came from every brick in the street
and from every pore in the sky.
After a night of prayer,
He changed my life when He sang,
"Enjoy Me."
Saint Teresa of Avila has written these poems. She was a great catholic saint and experienced in her
life many times the bliss of God. Very often people surrounding her were observing that during her
ecstasies she was levitating above the ground.

On the 30th of November we were celebrating Mahavatar Babaji’s rememberance day.
That day something very rare and special happened on this planet. For the third time Sri Swami
Vishwananda materialized or rather brought into our world, the Hiranyagarbha Lingam, the Cosmic
Golden Egg, in which is contained the whole universe and which is the source of all Creation. It
stayed on our planet for ten hours. Here is what Sri Swami Vishwananda himself said about the
Lingam:
“Babaji wanted this Lingam to come on this day. The Hiranyagarbha Lingam, as it is said in the Vedas, is
the primordial creation of God – it is the Will of God itself. And even if it seems so small like this,
it has the whole universe inside of it. What we are experiencing now, we are also experiencing inside of
it; even if it seems outside, we are all inside of it.
So why did it manifest now? Probably you will have noticed that in that the past two weeks the world
itself was changing. And it has nothing to do with 2012 – it will reflect to a greater change later on.
I thought people were changing for the better, but actually I realize the contrary. Out of the masses of
people that are living in this world, only a few are really changing for the better. Bringing this
Lingam into this consciousness, which is still low consciousness, probably will help to give a boost to
people’s advancement. It not only reflects on you all who are here, it reflects on the world itself.
This Lingam has a lot of healing qualities, which means it doesn’t heal only the body, but it heals the
Soul itself. Of course, one would say, ‘Our Soul? How can our Soul be affected? Because our Soul is pure
and completely into the Divine.’ It’s true, our Soul is pure and completely into the Divine, but around
it, what suffocates the soul, are all the karmic things that one accumulates, not only in one life, but
many lives.
It is time now for the changes to happen. It is time that humanity calls upon Mahavatar Babaji and
receives His help. Whether humanity calls Him or not, He will help. But from us it’s a nice gesture to
do so. And you all get the blessing of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam, so I hope all of you will profit.”

The Lingam, Cosmic Egg, which has no beginning and no end, symbolizes Eternity – the eternal nature of our Soul, which is as simple and perfect as this ancient, primordial image of God.
A lot of people (including those who didn’t see the Hiranyagarbha Lingam in Springen), felt a great
release when the Lingam appeared. “A week before the appearance of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam I was very
ill, said a devotee. But exactly in that moment in which it appeared, I was completely cured. At
that time I didn’t even know that it had appeared! I felt a great relief and a new power to meditate.”

The picture above was taken at Sri Swami Vishwananda’s centre in Springen, where the Hiranyagarbha Lingam
appeared. One person present on the day of its manifestation said about this picture of a column of
light in the direction of earth upward, "Yes indeed, the beam did appear in the evening of the day
of the manifestation. The sky was very peculiar and somewhat spectacular. The pillar of light was
itself an astonishing phenomenon.” Another person said, “One would maybe at first not see the light
as something extraordinary. But if you give it a second thought and look at the way the light
behaves, moving upward in a pillar fashion across several layers of cloud, I haven’t seen anything
like it before.” Yet another person commented about the picture, “That the light looked just like
the cosmic column of fire piercing through the earth, as has been seen emanating from the 12 Jyothi
Lingams of India by spiritually advanced souls.”
The Hiranyagarbha Lingam appeared on Earth to remind us all about or own Golden Divine Self, Atma, which is hidden in the each one of us under the veil of illusion.
God is present in every atom, every motion and every second of Creation. May we always remember about
this.

from Sri Swami Vishwananda

You can meditate on the Hiranyagarbha Lingam. Meditate and see the Lingam in your third eye [center
of Consciousness between the eyebrows], and then bring it into your heart. Just see the image first
in your mind and then bring the image to your heart, and let the Lingam merge into your heart.
Whether one has seen just a picture of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam or saw the real object, it is of equal blessing.
from Sri Paramahansa Yogananda
D ivine Mother, teach me to
live with delight. May I enjoy my earthly duties and the countless beauties of creation. Help me to
train my senses to observe and appreciate Thy wondrous world of Nature.
Let me savor with Thy zest all innocent pleasures. Save me from negation and unwarranted kill-joy
attitudes.
- "Whispers from Eternity", Self-realisation Fellowship, USA
letter from Mahavatar Babaji

Berries plucked and consumed fresh from the vine bring nutrition to the body in a content that
packaged and marketed varieties do not have the capacity to contribute. The human design was
intented to live more simply than it has been developed over the centuries. Now the world population
knows that the balance of nature is virtually destroyed in Earth domains. Let you, my friends, begin
to assist Spirit in bringing back the balance of nature in your world in the twenty-first
century.
Look in your lives and begin to daily notice the things that are out of balance.
Choose to locate the courage within you to walk in the uprightness of peace, harmony, truth and love.
Countless straight forward factors, like conserving energy in numerous ways are available for you. Let
waste not; want not; Om Namo Narayanaya become your mantra for conservation in the material
world.
As a simple example of current extreme waste, think about the unspeakable amounts of waste in food thrown
into the garbage heaps daily in restaurants around the world. It is a wasteful and diabolical way of
using large amounts of energy in the life-force of the natural food the Divine provides for mankind in
Earth design.
Additionally, the energy of producing and preparing the wasted food is enormous. Add to this the energy
of the people paying money accumulated from energy spent through their life-force in their work that
subsequently purchases the wasted food. And it brings the total energy and resources of people and the
Earth itself to a great cost in this one area alone. Think about this and how it is only one way the
life-force energy is misused on Earth in present day!
My friends, resolve this moment to begin the process of being present to that which you do in all thought
and action, and commit to bringing your life-force into alignment with Divine Will!

Divine"

In ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem. One day an acquaintance
met the great philosopher and said, “Socrates, do you know what I just heard about your friend?”
“Hold on a minute,” Socrates replied. “Before telling me anything, I’d like you to pass a little
test. It’s called the Triple Filter Test.”
“Triple filter?”
“That’s right,” Socrates continued. “Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea
to take a moment and filter what you’re going to say. The first filter is Truth. Have you made
absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?”
“No,” the man said, “actually I just heard about it and…”
“All right,” said Socrates. “So you don’t really know if it’s true or not. Now let’s try the second
filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something
good?”
“No, on the contrary…”
“So,” Socrates continued, “you want to tell me something bad about him, but you’re not certain it’s
true. You may still pass the test though, because there’s one filter left, the filter of Usefulness.
Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?”
“No, not really.”
“Well,” concluded Socrates, “if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful,
why tell it to me at all?” This is why Socrates was a great philosopher and held in such high
esteem.
Sri Swami Vishwananda said recently, “Nowadays when people come together, they mostly talk about
other people, to gossip about what the other person has been doing. But what the person has done is
not your business; it is the person’s business. Mind your own business! That’s what people don’t do
nowadays. They don’t look at themselves, but they do look at others, forgetting what Christ has
said:
“The fault that you see in other people, the judgment you put on to others, is your own judgment towards yourself.”
So, before spreading any rumor or gossip, try to apply Socrates’ Triple Filter Test.
Long time ago, in ancient times, when Mother Earth was very oppressed by the powers of darkness,
the Lord himself decided to incarnate on Earth as Rama in order to restore harmony on the planet and
liberate the souls.
Mother Shabari, one of the most precious jewels, a soul fully committed to God also lived in those
days on Earth. Mother Shabari firmly believed that one day God would come to her. Therefore, she lived
every day as if it were the day of God’s arrival. What a lovely creature she was! Everyday Shabari
would clean her cottage and the path leading to it. Then she used to choose the most beautiful
flowers from her garden and arranged them along the path so that the stones would not hurt the feet
of the Lord when he came. Her neighbours observing day by day the flower carpets in front
of her house thought that she must have been off her head and considered her mad as a hatter. Indeed she was mad – mad for the love of God! That’s not all. When the floral carpets were ready, Mother
Shabari used to spend some time in the garden picking berries for her Lord. However, she would
choose only the most juicy and the sweetest ones. That’s why she would try a bit each
berry to check their quality and accept only the best berries for her Lord. Such great was her
devotion! After completing all that, she would sit at the doorstep waiting trustfully for the
arrival of her beloved Lord.
The happy day that she was waiting for came at last. That day Rama with his brother Lakshman were
passing nearby. Mother Shabari saw them walking towards her on the flower carpet. She recognized
that in Rama’s body dwelled the Lord of the whole universe. What a joy! Mother Shabari washed Rama’s
feet and doing her best offered him her modest but warm hospitality. She offered him the berries
partly bitten off by her, the ones that she found the most tasty. Lakshman was disgusted when he saw
his brother accepting the unappetising berries with an overwhelming smile. He asked: “My Lord, how
can you eat that? This woman has tried these berries before you!” Rama, the merciful Lord of the
universe, who appreciates pure devotion of the souls above all, just smiled at him and answered, „My
dear brother, never before have I eaten berries so sweet. She offered them to me with pure love, in
her simplicity searching innocently for the sweetest ones”.
For God the most valuable treasure is pure love flowing from within the heart, from the very core of the soul.
Live your day as Mother Shabari used to do – as if God would come to you every day, every minute.
Then the most merciful Lord will surely appear to you within your heart.

B rain scans of nuns have revealed intricate neural circuits that flicker into life when they feel the presence of God.
The images suggest that feelings of profound joy and union with a higher Being that accompany
religious experiences are the culmination of ramped up electrical activity in parts of the brain.
The scans were taken as nuns relived intense religious experiences. They showed a surge in neural
activity in regions of the brain that govern feelings of peace, happiness and self-awareness.
Psychologists at the University of Montreal say the research, which appears in the Journal Neuroscience
Letters, was not intended to confirm or deny the existence of God, but set out to examine how the brain
behaves during profound religious experiences.
Using functional magnetic resonancing imaging to scan the brains of 15 Carmelite nuns, they were asked to
remember the most intense mystical experience they had ever had. When the scans were compared with
others taken beforehand, the scientists found electrical activity and blood oxygen levels had surged in
at least 12 regions of the brain. Some regions, such as the medial orbitofrontal cortex, are strongly
associated with emotions, while activity in the right middle temporal cortex is believed to be
responsible for the impression of contacting a spiritual entity. The scans showed different brain
activity from those taken when the nuns were asked to remember intense emotional experiences that
involved another person.
The findings contradict previous suggestions that human brains may have evolved with a “God Spot” – a
single region that lights up in response to deeply religious thoughts. “Rather than there being one spot
that relates to mystical experiences, we`ve found a number of brain regions are involved,” said Dr.
Beauregard.
|
|
Whether God exists or not is something that neuroscience cannot answer. For example, if we take a
brain image of a person when they are looking at a picture, we will see various parts of the brain
being activated, such as the visual cortex. But the brain image cannot tell us whether or not there
is actually a picture `out there` or whether the person is creating the picture in their own mind.
To a certain degree we all create our own sense of reality. Getting to know what is real is the
tricky part.
Andrew Newberg authored the book “Why God Won't Go Away". He found that certain areas of the brain
were altered during deep meditation. Predictably, those included areas in the front of the brain
involved in concentration. But Newberg also found decreased activity in the parietal lobe, one of
the parts of the brain that helps orient a person in three-dimensional space. “When people have
spiritual experiences they feel they become one with the universe and lose their sense of "self” he
said. We think that maybe because of what is happening in that area, if you block that area you lose
that boundary between the self and rest of the world. In doing so you ultimately wind up in a
universal state.” It is the meditative practices, that of breathing and chanting that block that area
of the brain so it is lees able to have a full sense of a separate self and during that process
experience a more universal consciousness.
If God existed and created the Universe, would it not make sense that he would install machinery in our brain that would make it possible to have mystical experiences?

It is said that God first separated salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made
animals and fish, all before making a human. He made and provided what we would need before we were
born. God left us a great clue as to what foods would help which parts of our body!
Sliced
carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like it. And yes, science
shows us now carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A tomato has four
chambers and is red. Human heart has four chambers and is red. And all of the research shows tomatoes
are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.
A walnut looks like a
little brain: a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or
the folds on the nut are just like the noe-cortex. We know now walnuts help develop more than 3 dozen
neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney beans actually
heal and help to maintain kidney function. And yes – they look exactly like human kidneys.
Celery, pak choi, rhubarb
and many more look like human bones. They specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% calcium and
these foods are also 23% calcium. If you don’t have enough calcium in your diet, the body pulls it from
the bone, thus making them weak. These food replenish the skeletal needs of your body.
Sweet potatoes look
like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives assist the health
and function of the ovaries. And just look what they look like!
|
|
Oranges and other
citrus fruits
look like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the
movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Ingredients
- 6 parts turmeric, ground
- 3 parts cumin, ground
- 3 parts coriander, ground
- 6 parts fennel, ground
- 1 part ginger, ground
- 1 part black pepper, ground
- ¼ part cinnamon powder
Mix all the ingredients and keep them in an air-tight jar in your fridge. When needed, one teaspoon
of the mixed spices is heated in one tablespoon of ghee (clarified butter). The mixture should only
be heated slightly as not to burn. As soon as an aroma is noticeable, the mixture can be taken off
the stove. Sprinkle the spiced ghee over rice or veggies.
When taken daily, the immune system will be strengthened and the digestive system stimulated.
